Dr. Michael Schwartz has been recognized as one of the most highly influential biomedical researchers in a paper published in the European Journal of Clinical Investigation. The article entitled “A list of highly influential biomedical researchers, 1996-2011“, is based on Scopus citation data and contains a list of 400 core biomedical researchers. Dr. Schwartz is the RH Williams Endowed Chair in Medicine and Professor of Medicine, Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition.
