Study Location

This is a trial testing whether a medication called AMX0035 will help improve metabolism and blood sugar control in adults with Type 1 Diabetes. Participants will take one packet of AMX0035 (mixed with water) twice a day, for 24 weeks. Before starting and after completing the treatment, participants will undergo blood and urine tests, body scans (DEXA and MRI), an insulin sensitivity test, a metabolism test, heart function tests, and
muscle and fat biopsies. While receiving treatment, participants will come in for two in person visits with an ECG to monitor blood tests and side effects, and have one phone call visit.
