Diabetes & Obesity Center of Excellence Director and Researcher, Michael Schwartz MD, was awarded a one year NIH Instrumentation Grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) program. This award will provide Dr. Schwartz’s group with state-of-the-art equipment to perform energy balance and metabolic phenotyping of rodent models relevant to nutrition, obesity, diabetes and related disorders.
