Dr. Laura Crisa, MD, PhD, has been awarded an R01 grant for her project entitled “Myeloid cells in tissue growth and regeneration”. This award seeks to characterize pro-regenerative functions of myeloid cell subsets during physiologic islet cell growth and after injury.
