The results of the vote for the UWMDI SLU Trainee of the Year are in!

In selecting the trainee, you were asked to consider the quality of presentations (organization, clarity, knowledge of relevant literature), ability to field questions, progress/growth as a scientist, and participation in discussions of other trainees’ presentations.

Based on these criteria, Ana Valencia was selected as the recipient of this year’s Trainee of the Year Award.

Ana will be giving a short talk at the Diabetes Day event on Wednesday May 25th, together with the VA Trainee of the Year Award recipient. Please register and support Ana (program with the registration link is attached). There will also be a keynote address by Jane Reusch (U Colorado – Denver).
