Dr. Jennifer Deem has been awarded a NIDDK-Mentored Research Scientist Development Award (K01) for her project entitled “Neurocircuits linking thermoregulation and feeding”. This 5-year project seeks to understand the neurocircuitry linking thermoregulation to energy homeostasis and may identify novel targets for obesity treatment.
